I have been Dr Babakhanlou’s patient since 2015, when he took over the practice on the retirement of the previous dentist. I am in my late seventies, and he gives me a check-up, clean and polish every three months. In 2017 he suggested that, to prevent future problems, it would be advisable to have a considerable amount of remedial work done on my back teeth. Over the following three years he did the following: one root-canal procedure; crowned five teeth, and removed an old bridge, extracted the two teeth under it, augmented the bone in the two cavities and inserted two implants. Prior to each procedure he explained very thoroughly what would be involved by using drawings, models, computer aids and my x-rays. All the treatments were complex and very lengthy. I am very, very pleased with all the incredibly skilled work Dr Roland has done for me, and for his unfailing kindness and concern. I cannot recommend him too highly.

Dr Roland is a highly skilled dentist, very professional who is also extremely warm and approachable in his approach with patients. Visiting the dentist was one thing that always dropped to the bottom of my list, Dr Roland, was so reassuring and calming when it came to any procedure, talking me through it step by step to reassure me. He carried out quite a complex procedure on one of my front teeth, something I was extremely nervous about but his extreme attention to detail and diligence created a result I was and still am very happy with. I have already recommend his services to friends of mine and they too were extremely satisfied with his work. I cannot recommend (or thank) him enough for his efforts and pure passion for dentistry.

There are only 2 dentists for me in the UK. Dr. Roland is one of them. I am a former dental nurse and I was very impressed with his integrity towards his work and patients. Very personable and attentive with people, he explains his diagnose in a way that everyone can understand and offers different options of treatment and/or costs (should there be more than one). In sum Dr. Roland works for the patients’ wellbeing and does not choose the easy route just to make money. So lucky to have found him 3 years ago

Dr Roland is a highly professional dentist who in my opinion came across as a very diligent person who immediately sourced out the root of the problem and delivered a workable solution. The way the process was conducted lifted my faith in British Dentistry System as I had lost faith that people like Roland exist. Before I met Dr Roland dentistry was my biggest nightmare – as it is for many of us; i would avoid them at all costs. And of course at some point there was time to face the consequences! Dr Roland has been my dentist for a while, having helped me eliminate the fear of dentists and has done an excellent jobs fixing up all my teeth issues. Now I feel so much better! I had the great good fortune to be a patient of Mr. John K. Skuse F.D.S., R.C.P.S., B.D.S., L.D.S., R.C.S. for 45 years throughout the entire period from October 1969 when I started working for the Research Department of the London School  of Economics to October 2014 when Mr. Skuse retired.

Mr. Skuse very kindly passed his clients to a dentist that is equally outstanding as he was and in this regard his successor became Dr. Roland Babakhanlou DDS, MSc, MFGDP (UK), MFDS RCPS(Glasg).
